About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Global Data Services Lead who will take ownership of our global data platforms and ensure they run efficiently, transparently, and cost‑effectively. You will oversee the operation of our Power BI Service platform, AWS, and Snowflake environments, and you will be the key link between IT, data teams, and business stakeholders.
This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys structure, governance, operational excellence, and enabling organisation‑wide data usage at scale.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage global data platforms, ensuring stability, security and performance across Power BI Service, AWS, and Snowflake.
Monitor and report cloud utilisation and costs, driving transparency and optimisation.
Develop a cost‑allocation and chargeback model to support financial accountability across markets and functions.
Standardise ways of working across local MI/BI teams to ensure alignment with Global Data Operations.
Own global documentation and knowledge management, ensuring clarity, consistency and accessibility.
Produce weekly and monthly operational reports for the Global Head of Data Operations and executive stakeholders.
Act as the operational bridge between IT, cloud teams, data governance, and business stakeholders.
Provide structure and visibility for global data initiatives and strategic projects.
What You Bring
Experience managing or supporting enterprise data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Power BI).
Strong understanding of cloud utilisation, billing, and cost management.
Hands-on experience with Power BI administration (licensing, access, workspace governance).
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across global teams.
Confidence in stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
Experience working in a global or multi‑market environment.
Relevant education in IT / Data Management; certifications in AWS, Snowflake or Power BI are an advantage.
